Interviews in Closing Borders exhibition

During June 2017, interviews will be made in front of a video camera in Riiko Sakkinen's Closing Borders exhibition. This gives the visitors opportunity to express their thoughts on the theme of the exhibition.

People with immigrant background shoot interviews on video, on which visitors can tell about their thoughts about the exhibitions and immigration in general. Interviews and video filming form a part of TAMK (University of Applied Sciences) project Talents of Immigrant to Activity, in which also the Serlachius Museums participate. The project aims to create the service model for integration education of immigrants. It promotes the employment of unemployed immigrants through culture and export training. The other pedagogical tools are individual career guidance for immigrants and workplace training in companies.

The interviews will be shown in connection to the exhitiion later on. Vistors can participate in the interviews on fully voluntary basis.
